The expanding luxury men's underwear market just got a new entrant -- jac5. The new underwear brand launched online as well as in Hong Kong's trendy Sheung Wan district.
Jac5 bills itself as the thinking man's solution to all that isn't quite right with what is available in today's marketplace. The brand even claims to have addressed, and solved, the age-old problems of itchy waistbands, uncomfortable fits, mediocre manufacturing, and products with a short life span and no sex appeal. For jac5, it's all about delivering style and comfort.
Jim Christopher, the man behind the brand, uses his five much-loved Jack Russell terrier dogs as inspiration and mascot for the brand.
"I felt there was void in the men's underwear market," say Christopher. "Quality, style and comfort were in decline, and so I decided to assemble the best possible team to create an irresistible product line of men's essentials. Jac5 is a brand with a sense of humour, and we don't take ourselves too seriously--except when it comes to design and quality."
